 I am an accomplished individual who has a professional and confident manner along with multitasking and exceptional organizational skills. I am passionate about serving my community and I love participating in service opportunities. I take my school work very seriously and love being involved on campus and my community. I have always had an eye for creativity when it comes to ideas for fundraisers, themed events, social media promoting, etc. I am very experienced in the marketing department with using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft excel, social media, website design, photography, videography, adobe illustrator, and digital editing. Another beneficial quality is my leadership skills. I look at myself as the person who is always doing the right thing even behind closed doors. I am an accomplished individual who has a professional and confident manner. I know the importance of guiding others in the right direction and I always do my best to be a role model to others watching me. Leadership has always been one of my strengths and I will continue to always be a leader and help others grow a leader as well. I always see myself putting others before myself and I think that is a great quality of a leader. This is not because I believe I have a caring heart but because I enjoy helping others succeed in their life and professional goals. I am passionate about service and giving back to my community. Ever since I was little, I have always been so driven when it came to community service projects. Community Service taught me about compassion and understanding. I find it very rewarding to help out and make a difference in another person's life. Community service to me has never been about building a resume or looking good for a scholarship committee, but it’s about improving and leaving your mark on your community. Volunteering is not about what you give but what you get in return. Seeing a struggled woman smile after giving her a car full of toys to give her children for Christmas, is one of the most rewarding things I have ever witnessed. When service is done the right way and for the right reasons, the byproducts will mean the world to you and everyone you serve. Over the past 2 years, I grew a love for sign language and the deaf community. I am very passionate about the deaf community and helping to provide them with resources they are not educated about. There are many organizations such as Hearing without Borders, that travel to different countries to provide hearing aids to people in deaf communities. The deaf community is not something that is talked about a lot in today’s society and I wish that was different. Living without 1 of your 5 senses is not impossible but just makes life a lot harder. Educating different countries on the technology and practices of American Sign Language need to be expressed throughout the world. My dream job is to travel with an organization to different countries targeting the deaf communities and educating them on American Sign Language and hearing aids. Helping someone hear for the first time is going to be so rewarding and I can wait to have my dream job one day.
